Andy Rutnik is campaigning for the VI’s Senator At Large seat.
It is now held by Craig Barshinger, also a St. Johnian, completing his third term. The Inquiring Iguana does not know if he will run for a fourth.
Rutnik’s candidacy plans have been known for weeks. Saturday night he’ll formally announce. He is a plain-speaking, thoughtful, no-b.s. kind of guy. He’s lived on the island more than 20 years, having raised a family and started several businesses.
