So, here’s the setup. You follow a couple as they scout for a house to buy on St. John. And TV cameras follow them. Fantasy entertainment for real estate voyeurs.
Eloise Anderson of the St. John Sun Times tells the story of how Ted and Sharon Prosser of North Carolina went house shopping, shadowed by a film crew from HGTV’s House Hunters International.
They looked at three Coral Bay homes in December, Aria, Into the Mystic, and Sea Rock. A source told the Inquiring Iguana the homes were in the range of $1.2 to $1.5 million.
Diana Beam of Remax International played her real-life role of real estate agent and Catered To’s property maintenance guru Brent Lynn handled duties as production assistant.
The Sun Times reports the Prossers chose Into the Mystic, where they plan to live part of the year. (That's the house pictured.)
