After eight years, Starfish Market figures it's time to freshen up the store at the Marketplace Center.
"Thousands of customers have shopped at our market and eventually all that traffic takes a toll on the floors," said Nedra Ephraim, the store manager. "We will be upgrading our refrigerated cases and expanding our produce, dairy, deli, and frozen departments."
David Mugar, the store's owner, said he had planned to begin the store face lift this year. But he's delayed it to next spring, to avoid the disruption that would have occurred in the middle of winter (high) season.
