The government said Tuesday afternoon this will be a hurricane season that is more active than usual.
The National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration forecast three to five major storms in the Atlantic Ocean region. The average is two majors. "This hurricane season, from what we can see at this time, has all the ingredients for being a difficult season," said Warren Isom, senior vice president at Willis Re, the reinsurance unit of insurance broker Willis Group, according to MarketWatch.
