Conde Nast Traveler’s June issue is all about spas and self indulgence and pampering offered by hundreds of resorts around the world. The magazine reviews 270 of them.
St. John’s Caneel Bay resort ranks 9th on the magazine’s Top 25 Atlantic and Caribbean list. It scores 97.7 for location, and 91.7 for design. However, Caneel gets disappointing grades, scores in the low 80's, for rooms, service, and food.
Conde Nast likes one of Caneel's’ spa services: treatments in open-air cabanas overlooking the beach. The secret ingredient? Organic honey. A 50-minute Bee-utiful Facial “restores vibrancy to sun-drained skin,” and a Bee-utiful Massage includes “a honey foot wrap.” Each service is $145.
