Steel pan spices up Grande Bay cocktail parties

In an effort to add to the overall Grande Bay Experience, the team at Grande Bay is hosting weekly parties for Grande Bay owners, guests, and visitors to St. John. 

According to John Alvarado, the Director of Sales at Grande Bay, “Our goal is to get everyone to get to know one another at Grande Bay and to foster a sense of community. 

"By offering complimentary appetizers and drinks at some of our favorite island spots, we offer a low-key way for people to stop in and get to know one another. In addition, we like to invite all visitors to St. John. That way those who haven’t been introduced to Grande Bay yet have a casual way to learn a little more about what we have to offer.  Our past experience has shown us that it's a fantastic way to have Owners, Grande Bay guests, and St. John guests all get together and meet one another while enjoying the sunset and having a drink."

Free food, free drinks

Good headline, but not entirely accurate.  There is no such thing as free, and not when real estate’s involved.  Nonetheless, the latest promotional effort by the folks marketing ‘fractional ownership’ at Grande Bay is worth a nod.

Each week they host two complimentary parties featuring cocktails and light appetizers.  

While you sip and nibble, it’s only reasonable to expect John Alvarado, Grande Bay’s director of sales and his folks to pitch you on what the Residence Clubhas to offer.  (Disclaimer: one of our advertisers)

What makes these get togethers worth considering is that they’re are good places; not just a card table thrown up alongside the pool.  

Monday’s from 4:30p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Banana Deck caters drinks and noshes at Motu, the island’s newest spot for limn’.  It’s near  the new Low Key Watersports location.

On Thursdays, the 4 1/2 star-TripAdvisor-rated Waterfront Bistro is the venue.
