Bet you never thought you'd hear someone say THAT! But it's all I can say after 15 minutes on the phone this morning with "Jake" and "Larry" at the AOL Postmaster office.
Some e-mails to friends got bounced last night, with message I'm a spammer. Could be that sending hundreds of digests of my NewsofStJohn.com Web site weekly caused a problem ... even though everyone requested it (and I have their e-mail for authentication).
Anyway, Jake and Larry were as cordial, calm, and cooperative as could be to try and help me get my good email name back. Hasn't happened yet - 'cause I'm at work and the trouble occurs at home through my Cox high-speed connection ... but these guys could not have been more helpful, friendly, and supportive.
Let's hope we can fix it tonight.
can anyone give me the address where I can send aol an old fashioned cancellatiobn notice so they would stop getting money from my bank account

AOL is far from rocking... they are stealing from the customers that pay their salaries. In Febuary 2008 I called and terminated my acct with AOL and trusting it would be done; I look at my checking acct balance every week but unless it is a enourmous amount deducted I do not look at every transaction, well over a year later ( April 24 2009) I am looking for a cleared payment and see AOL charges on my acct - needless to say they never stopped taking funds from my acct., it just went from withdrawing $49.95 a month to $14.95 a month. AOL took 13 months worth from my acct before I realized it which totals over $194.00. I spoke to AOL and they said they had saw no activity in my acct but still withdrew the monthly fee. Still waiting for a refund....never trust AOL - bunch of thieves!

AOL DOES NOT ROCK....
In my plan I am only paying $9.95 for the service yet they are chargin me $7.00 extra for a total of $16.95. This is because I go on MY BANK ACCOUNT WEBSITE AND SEND OFF MY PAYMENT TO AOL THRU MY BANK ACCOUNT. This just sucks...

Down loads should be limited to one a month. Every time I open aol. it wants to update and if I agree it requires rebooting. I hate it. I hope you will solve this problem.

AOL does rock, if you are of the criminally minded. Aol takes money from my bank act every month and I don't even have Aol.
Ya that Rocks.

Hey Steve,
I have same problem as yours.
I have sent amny letters cancelling my account but NO VAIL. They still take money from my account.Bank won;t do anything.
Yse, AOL can get away with this because they are big bully and Republicans are for BIG business NOT for little guys like us.

It is very aggervating when on the welcome page you have a link to a news report and I want to read the article, and then click on it, but it does not go to the article!!! I have to then go to another link to get what you are saying the first link will take you to. Try that on analog1!!
Come on... just have the link connect straight to the article advertised.

I do not agree that AOL customer
service rocks.
I am having difficulty with their
service now and can't even find
an email address to let them know
what problems I am having. How
in the world can you call that
great service? By the way,
does anyone know their email
address for customer service?
